Employee Spotlight: Jim Bucolt

Castle Vokswagen

General Manager

Jim Bucolt is the General Manager at our Castle Volkswagen store. His career in the car industry began 30 years ago when his wife introduced him to her stepbrother, who was the Sales Manager at Jennings Volkswagen. He began selling shortly after meeting & became the Manager 2 years later.

He ran that store for 10 years building it to a Diamond award store and eventually a top 15 volume store in the nation before leaving to help Fox Valley Auto Group open their first location. 15 years later, he is now helping the Castle Group continue to grow by increasing business and developing good people to assist in future growth.

More About Jim:

He & his wife Tiffany recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. They have 2 daughters in college. One in Milwaukee doing grad school and the other an undergrad in Ohio. They live for the few weeks a year that they can all be together. Jim is a little bit on the competitive side. He takes pride in being great at everything he does. He is also a bit of a sports enthusiast. He enjoys spending his free time in New Buffalo Michigan with the family, boating as their #1 favorite summer activity. He also loves to binge watch shows like Ozark & Cobra Kai & has recently found a new love for cooking.

When we asked Jim what his favorite car was, he mentioned that ironically enough, he isn’t much of a car guy. He does however have a pup named Jetta. & if he had to pick a favorite car, he would have to go with a Jetta.
