Castle Volkswagen of Schaumburg Helps Pack the Bus for District 54

As the back-to-school season gets into full swing, Castle Volkswagen of Schaumburg found the perfect opportunity to give back and help support our community. The Township of Schaumburg held their annual event called Pack the Bus, where people donated school supplies to help District 54 students in need.

Castle Volkswagen of Schaumburg wanted to help ease the burden some families go through during back-to-school season. We understand that some kids are unable to get all the supplies they need for school, and we wanted to give back to our community and help fuel the education of our future generations.

Castle Volkswagen of Schaumburg’s Involvement

Leading up to the event, the team at Castle Volkswagen of Schaumburg went shopping for essential back-to-school supplies – our team filled carts with hundreds of items that students rely on throughout the school year including notebooks, pencils, folders, backpacks, and other important classroom essentials!

Once everything was collected, our team packed the school bus with the donated supplies for distribution to students and families in the community. From start to finish, it was a rewarding experience that reflected our team’s commitment to supporting local students and helping them start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.

About the Township of Schaumburg’s Pack the Bus

For the past 10 years, the Township of Schaumburg has hosted its annual Pack the Bus School Supply Drive – ensuring students have the tools they need for a successful school year. The initiative supports students in School District 54 by collecting backpacks, school supplies, and monetary donations for families in need. Through the generosity of local businesses, organizations, and community members, Pack the Bus helps remove barriers to learning and gives students the opportunity to start the school year prepared and confident.

Community Impact and Commitment

At Castle Volkswagen of Schaumburg, we are dedicated to helping our community in more ways than just providing them vehicles. As a business in the Schaumburg community, we work everyday to find ways in which we can give back and help make a difference. This event truly aligns with the goals and efforts our company has worked towards doing in our community. Nothing is greater than helping grow the education of the next generation.

We are so beyond grateful to have been able to participate in this event. Thank you to our Castle team that went out to shop for school supplies and went to help pack the bus with all the supplies that were donated. Without our amazing team, we would not be able to do things like this. We look forward to doing events like this and we can’t wait to be part of this again next year.
