Castle Subaru is honored to always give back to the community of Indiana in any way possible. Our annual Castle Subaru loves pets event was held on Saturday, October 19th from 11 am – 2 pm. The event was a success with members of the Indiana community coming out to volunteer and donate to our furry family pets. This year we partnered with four local Indiana shelters which included the Hobart Human Society, LakeShore Paws, Giant Paws Prints, and Second Chance 4 Pets.
Hobart Human Society is an animal protection organization located in Hobart, Indiana whose mission is to provide a solution to the increasing number of strays. LakeShore Paws is a volunteer-run, nonprofit animal rescue organization located in Valparaiso, Indiana. Giant Paws Print is a non-profit organization all-breed rescue specializing in gentle giants. Second Chance 4 Pets has a mission to help pets not only in the Northwest Indiana region but all over find a home to live in.
During the event, volunteers from the shelters offered information on the best ways you could adopt an animal in your local area. The event also provided free nail trimmings for your pup, Indiana Police K9 demonstrations, raffles, giveaways, catered food from The Big Wiener, free popcorn and more!
Our team’s mission at Castle Subaru is to contribute to the community of not only Portage, Indiana but all over Indiana. We couldn’t be prouder of the outcome we had at the annual Castle Subaru Loves Pets Event.
