Castle McHenry Hosts Their Cars & Cuts Back-to-School Event
As kids start going back to school, we wanted to find a way to help get the kids of the McHenry community everything they need and feel confident going back to the classroom. Our way to help kids in the community was hosting a Cars & Cuts event on August 12th, where we encouraged local students to visit our dealership and receive a brand new backpack with different supplies they will need for the upcoming school year like notebooks, paper, pens, pencils, markers, and glue. On top of all of that, they also were able to receive a free haircut from one of the lovely stylists from Cost Cutters of McHenry to give them that little boost in confidence as they walk through those school doors.
We had an amazing time with all the McHenry families. It was truly heartwarming seeing all that we could provide for the families and help the kids feel ready and confident as they head back to school. We absolutely love seeing all the happy smiles on all their faces as they received their back packs and fresh haircuts.
Castle McHenry’s Involvement
Hosted in our Castle Cadillac McHenry building, we had tables set up for our four stylists from Cost Cutters of McHenry and a table with all the back packs displayed. The entire room was decorated in a back-to-school theme, really emphasizing the whole theme. Right outside the dealership, we also had dirty sodas, lemonade, and shaved ice for free for everyone, provided by Snowie Ice.
Our team had an amazing time engaging with everyone from the community and just overall having fun during our event. There were a lot of great conversations and connections built. All the kids were so happy with their haircuts. So many people from the community and the surrounding areas came in to get a fresh new cut from one of the amazing stylists. All the families could not stop raving about the entire event, especially the haircuts.
