Castle Downers Grove Hosted Their Back-to-School Pit Stop Event
As kids start to head back to school, Castle Downers Grove wanted to help make it a little easier for families. Castle Hyundai Downers Grove, Castle Volkswagen of Downers Grove, and Castle Mazda Downers Grove hosted a joint back to school event where families made their way to each showroom to pick up and customize their backpack and school supplies. Shaved ice was also provided to the kids by Snowie Ice at our Mazda store.
We know that back to school can be a bit of a stressful time for families and we just wanted to help make things a little easier as their kids head back to the classrooms. We had an amazing time with all the families that showed up and got their new backpacks and supplies. Nothing is better than giving kids what they need to “fuel” their learning.
Castle Downers Grove’s Involvement
Our three stores, Castle Volkswagen of Downers Grove, Castle Hyundai Downers Grove, and Castle Mazda Downers Grove, each held a station for families to visit. First, families came into our Volkswagen store to pick up their backpack and receive their “passport” that they would get checked off at each store they stopped at. Next, they went to our Hyundai store next door to receive their school supplies along with a box of tissues and clorox wipes to prepare for all the germs that come with back to school. After that, they made their way to our Mazda store where the kids were able to customize all their things and also get free shaved ice.
It was an amazing turnout with a lot of families showing up. We had a lot of fun seeing all the kids get excited and have fun customizing their stuff. It was so rewarding to give away all these school supplies to kids to help further their education. We love building up the next generation.

Here at Castle Downers Grove, we believe that the road for a better future starts with the youth. That is why we love doing events like these that support and help the younger generations flourish to do great things in the world. We are committed to giving back to the community and to the youth.
