Castle Cares Supports Covington Elementary Teachers in Oak Lawn
Through our Castle Cares initiative, Castle Automotive Group continues to look for meaningful ways to support the communities surrounding our dealerships.
On Thursday, August 20th, the team at Castle Hyundai Oak Lawn visited Covington Elementary School to deliver classroom supplies for the new school year. The team supported 20 teachers by purchasing selected items directly from their Amazon classroom wish lists.
Shopping from the teachers’ individual wish lists gave the team a chance to contribute items that would be useful inside their classrooms and help with preparations for the school year ahead.

Supporting Teachers at Covington Elementary
Teachers put a lot of time into preparing their classrooms before students arrive. From everyday school supplies to materials used throughout the year, each classroom has different needs.
By purchasing selected items from the teachers’ wish lists, Castle Hyundai Oak Lawn was able to support 20 classrooms at Covington Elementary and help teachers with some of those back-to-school preparations.
The visit also carried a personal connection for the dealership team. Many Castle Hyundai Oak Lawn employees are local and grew up in the surrounding area, making the opportunity to give back to a neighborhood school feel like a full-circle moment.

Giving Back Through Castle Cares
For Castle Automotive Group, Castle Cares is about finding practical ways for our dealerships to stay involved in the communities they serve.
Each Castle location has its own connection to the people and organizations around it, and this visit gave the Castle Hyundai Oak Lawn team an opportunity to support a local school in a way that directly benefited its teachers.
We are grateful to Covington Elementary School for welcoming the team and proud of Castle Hyundai Oak Lawn for helping bring this Castle Cares initiative to life.
